Outreach Strategy &
Grower Guide

Fresh Produce Safety Centre Australia and New Zeleand (FPSC ANZ) had trouble improving the safety of produce grown by small growers of high-risk produce. I supported them by speaking to growers and system stakeholder on the ground to build an outreach strategy and a set of grower guide modules.

The outreach strategy was based on interviews with growers, ecosystem stakeholders and food safety experts. Through literature reviews, quantitative data, and qualitative personas and insights a set of recommendations were developed as well as the grower guides. We were fortunate enough to work with amazing SMEs and clients through this project in FPSC ANZ and NSW DPI.

The Grower Guides were designed to be circulated through local channels such as farmers markets, training sessions and local peak bodies.
